Gimme Shelter

“Operation Leave No Rez Dog Cold in Winter”
Meet Vernan Kee and Chantal Wadsworth, the partners of Rez Roads.

REZ ROADS

is a non-profit founded by Vernan Kee and Chantal Wadsworth. Together they build wood dog houses to provide Winter shelter for the dogs that live outside on the Navajo Reservation. If you would like to learn more about these two and their story, click here.

A dog on the Navajo Reservation in one of the shelters being built by Vernan and Chantal. These shelters have straw placed inside for warmth and flexible doggy doors to shield the pet from wind, rain and snow.

This 2021 Holiday Season, we are donating 10 houses.

They cost $50 each.

We would love to shower these dogs with much more shelter than this. So let’s bring it on.

Here’s how you can GIV’EM SHELTER:

  • Donate $50 and you provide one dog shelter for a pet living outside on the Navajo Reservation.
  • Donate $75 and you provide one dog shelter for a pet living outside on the Navajo Reservation that includes a custom plaque 1. “In Memory of…” or, 2. “With Love From…”.
  • Donate $100 between now and December 31, 2021 and $50 goes to the Telluride Humane Society and $50 goes to Rez Roads and provides one dog shelter for a pet living outside on the Navajo Reservation.
